Hi, I'm Peter.
I'm a Computer Information Systems student at the University of Houston with a growing focus on IT infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
I enjoy building hands-on environments where I can troubleshoot systems, understand how technologies connect, and turn technical data into useful insights.
My experience ranges from supporting enterprise users during my internship with Oceaneering to building technical home labs involving Active Directory, Splunk, IT service management, Power BI, and AWS.
I'm continuing to strengthen these skills as I prepare for a career in IT, cloud, systems, and cybersecurity.

Learning by Building
A major part of how I develop my technical skills is through hands-on labs. I build environments that allow me to configure systems, intentionally create problems, troubleshoot them, analyze telemetry, and understand how different technologies interact.
My projects have included an enterprise-style IT helpdesk and Power BI analytics pipeline, an Active Directory environment integrated with Splunk SIEM, AWS cloud infrastructure, and application development.
